RafStudio Overview
Intended for application developers and IT professionals, RafStudioTM is an Eclipse based flexible and robust software platform for rapid RFID application design, development and testing. It offers a visual development environment for creating RFID applications. It addresses the complete RFID Application Development cycle from Event Management and Analysis (using CEP) to Integration to deploying and managing RFID Solutions. It leverages open industry standards to enable implementation of cross-platform processes and data exchange between systems.
RafStudioTM simplifies application development or integration by guiding the user to define tags representing business entities, reader locations and events of "interest", event hierarchies, duplication and purge criteria.
RafStudioTM speeds the development of RFID applications with easy to use visual tag, reader, and event editors. It enables definition of tags of "concern" and reader landscape for data collection, meaningful events, identification of complex events, description of business rules that define event triggers for process automation using simple rules definition language (RDL) and integration with back office applications. It provides simulation and debugging facility to accelerate application development based on logical view of RFID events and is agnostic to physical layout of RFID Network.
